This historic landmark, built as a WPA project in the early 1930’s, was in need of comprehensive exterior restoration.
This project was completed over two summers, replacing approximately 35,000 sq. ft. of roof, and addressed many ongoing problems, and updated the school’s aesthetics to coordinate with recent additions.
The project replaced the early-1980’s vintage roof system on the Main Terminal building of the Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The project also addressed building envelope deficiencies that had caused intermittent leaks throughout its lifespan.
This project made hardscape improvements across the entire school district (13 sites), addressing multiple deficiencies identified through our previous visual survey and budgeting process.
The project involved repairs and replacement of various exterior components of two buildings, Wood Hall and Mary Ann Cofrin Hall.
At Concordia University’s Mequon campus, the project for the replacement of the north access roadway consisted of removing all asphalt down to the stone base.
As part of a larger reroofing project, the school leaders wished to replace the weathered and deteriorating original translucent wall panels at the gable ends of the gymnasium.
