Details of Project Successes/Challenges:

The hardscape project at the Stoughton branch of Associated Bank presented a number of challenges. There was a need for improved traffic flow, but the site was bordered by two main streets, presenting ingress/egress limitations. There were also several municipal regulations to comply with regarding site drainage, lighting and aesthetics.

Ultimately, the solution was an underground detention tank, installed beneath the parking lot to address site drainage issues. Site lighting was reconfigured and new underground electrical lines were installed. Site screen fencing was installed to shield the dumpster location. Finally, the building entrance and sidewalk was improved to provide ADA-compliant access.

Through numerous revisions and lots of persistence, the project was finally approved, the construction progressed, and the new improved site for customers and employees emerged.
