Details of Project Successes/Challenges:

At Concordia University’s Mequon campus, the project for the replacement of the north access roadway consisted of removing all asphalt down to the stone base. Proof-rolling the base to assure stability for paving. Installation of sub-surface drain tile was installed to control moisture. Select curb and gutter replacement was performed. Handi-cap parking stalls were installed in concrete to assure compliance with ADA slope and function. An additional heavy duty concrete extension was installed in front of the dumpster. The roadway was re-paved to support heavy duty traffic and restriped.

STR-SEG’s design accomplished the requests to perform the work described above and provided on-site job observations to observe that the work complied with the specifications. ADA parking slope and overall slope of the roadway was also improved. The work was completed on time and on budget.
