Details of Project Successes/Challenges:

This project made hardscape improvements across the entire school district (13 sites), addressing multiple deficiencies identified through our previous visual survey and budgeting process. It also included numerous preventive maintenance tasks that facility managers need to accomplish on a regular basis. Our construction documents allowed the client to package multiple and varied scope items into a single, competitive bid.  

Work included areas of asphalt pavement replacement, areas of asphalt milling-and-overlays, targeted concrete curbing and flatwork replacements, access improvements for ADA compliance, and pavement sealcoating and restriping.

Throughout the project, STR-SEG reviewed submittals, performed site observation visits, helped coordinate various contractors and communicated with onsite and administrative personnel to ensure all scope items were completed and a quality end product was achieved.
