Roof Assessment and Design
STR-SEG analyzes the condition of your facility’s roof and makes recommendations for necessary work, including budgets based on our experience.
When the need arises for replacement of your roofing system, STR-SEG develops a design that best meets your objectives, and facilitates a competitive bidding process to solicit multiple “apples-to-apples” bids from qualified contractors. After the contract is let, STR-SEG provides periodic observation of the work-in-progress to ensure the work is completed as intended.

Roof Surveys
Information gathered onsite is made accessible through our cloud-based Facilities Management system (FMS). This software application also provides a process for reporting issues (i.e., roof leaks), determining warranty status, automatically dispatching a preferred contractor, and tracking the issue through resolution.
Roof Assessment Reports
Information gathered onsite is presented in a detailed report, covering existing roof construction and conditions, with corresponding photos to ensure a complete understanding of issues found, and our professional recommendations for work required.
Roof Design and Bidding
Proper roof design must respond to all impacts it has on your facility: structural, thermal insulation, moisture control, and resistance to wind. As a professional design firm, we make sure these aspects are addressed and conveyed to the bidding contractors.
Roof Construction Observation
Once a contract is in place between you and the successful contractor, we review their product submittals and shop drawings to verify compliance with the design, observe the work-in-progress for quality assurance purposes on your behalf.
